Farm Camp
350 Farm's "Farm Camp" is a fun-filled learning experience where your child will spend the week fully immersed in the daily workings of our farm.
Campers age 8-12 will spend March 30 - April 3 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM here on our farm, learning how to interact and understand where their food comes from, and to impart a greater appreciation for the effort that farmers make to grow healthy, fresh food, and also have a basic understanding of how food directly affects how we feel.
Below is a short overview of each of the days:
Monday – Alpaca Day
Meet our alpacas and learn about their personalities, care, and role on the farm. Campers will help with feeding, grooming, and understanding how alpacas fit into a sustainable farm environment.
Tuesday – Kunekune Pig Day
All about our kunekune pigs! Campers will learn how pigs are raised, what they eat, and why they’re such an important part of the farm.
🔥 Cooking activity: Learn how our pork becomes food — including making burgers and cooking smokies over the fire.
Wednesday – Guardian Dog Day
Meet our livestock guardian dogs and learn how they protect the animals. Campers will explore animal behavior, boundaries, and the important role working dogs play on a farm.
Thursday – Horses & Mini Horses
Spend the day with our horses and mini horses — grooming, learning basic care, and understanding how horses communicate. This day focuses on confidence, respect, and hands-on learning.
Friday – Cow Day & Farm-to-Table Finale
Friday is all about food, creativity, and celebrating the week.
Campers will:
• Learn about cows and where milk comes from
• Make mozzarella cheese from scratch
• Learn how milk becomes butter and ice cream
• Make pizza using the cheese they created
• Revisit their favorite animals from the week
Beyond the Barn
Throughout the week, campers will also:
• Explore forest trails and beaver habitats
• Learn about wildlife and bird spotting
• Discover how ecosystems work together
• Learn where meat and food come from
• Build confidence through hands-on experiences
