What to Expect at the Haunted Woods:
Picture your classic haunted house... but now imagine it along a spooky, very dark, winding trail deep in the woods just outside Cold Lake!
Now, let’s be clear—we’re not a horror or gory haunted house. We don’t aim to terrify or frighten on a visceral level. This isn’t “Deadmonton” or “Pierceland”—we’re the new family-oriented Haunted Woods, built for our ever-growing community, and we’re so excited to have you here as we grow together!
The Haunted Woods is family-friendly and perfect for all school-aged kiddos and up. We’ve designed it to give you the perfect mix of fun and light scares, so you’ll be laughing as much as you’re jumping!

Tickets must be purchased for a specific day. PLEASE NOTE: All animal areas close at 7pm.
Pro tip: Since it’s such a popular fall attraction, we want to help you have the best time possible. Lines can get long, especially between 7 PM and 8:30 PM (that’s our peak time). To keep the thrills fresh for everyone, we send groups in every so many seconds, which means a bit of a wait. On average, you’ll be waiting about 30-45 minutes during peak times.
When should you arrive? Anytime between 7 PM and 9:30 PM works great! If you show up right at 7 PM or before with everyone else, you might find yourself in a long line. But if you’re flexible and arrive later, you’ll likely get in a bit quicker!
Our goal? To give you a unique and spooky experience—one group at a time—so no one’s getting caught in the same scares twice.
Bathroom info: Our toilets are located a few minutes' walk up the farm road and are available for guest use. No toilets are available at the entrance. Just like at a theme park—if you need a bathroom while in line, you’ll need to make the trek and then return to your spot (don’t worry, your party can hold your place).
Important note: We’re completely off-grid! Our farm runs the Haunted Woods with battery-operated and solar lights, so expect low lighting throughout your entire stay. While we’re not a large public facility, we take pride in giving you an authentic, rustic experience working with what our small family farm has.

Prepare for the ultimate Halloween dining experience under the eerie glow of a full moon at The Haunted Woods. Join us for a night of ghostly delights and terrifyingly good food, perfect for the whole family!
Your evening begins with a bone-warming cauldron of soup, followed by a hauntingly delicious Halloween charcuterie spread, where our guest of honor, Skelly—a prosciutto-covered skeleton—takes center stage. For dessert, indulge in mind-altering sweet treats that will leave you questioning reality.
A cash bar will be available throughout the night, offering a selection of wine, beer, and ghoulish cocktails for those daring enough to drink.
Once dinner is complete, venture into The Haunted Woods, where screams and dreams await. Follow the darkened path as you navigate toward The Sanctuary, but beware—you may lose yourself in the shadows. If you survive the woods, return to the Feast to revive your soul with a warm drink and relive the thrills of the night.
